About the Brand
Pommery Champagne has great heritage as with all the great Champagne houses. Established in 1857 by a Mr Pommery who sadly died a year later, the Champagne House grew to be the iconic brand it is today thanks to the vision of his widow and daughter. Madame Pommery was a pioneer, innovator, and philanthropist. Trailblazing the way for the promotion of luxury products, the importance of branding and public relations - she invented Pommery’s brand image, no mean feat for women in this era, was the first business owner in the sector to set up a pension fund for her employees and founded the orphanage in Reims. These ethical values are just important to Pommery now as they were when established. The legacy left by Madame Pommery and daughter Louise as fundamental the house, its values and its identity.
‘I wanted this estate to read like an open book, telling the story of the changing world around it and the passage of time. Leave your mark here as I left my eternal trace. May it be worthy of respect for this champagne that is now our shared soul, one that bears—now and forever—the memory of our art’. Madame Pommery
