Langley's No.8 Distilled London Gin
Aptly named after the number of botanicals used to make this great gin, Langley’s No 8 is made in small batches using the purest 100% English Grain Spirit. In contrast to the multitude of modern styles available now with sweet or floral notes, this is more of a classic gin, perfect for a traditional gin and tonic.
About the Brand
Langley’s Distillery, is based in the West Midlands and was founded by the Palmer family nearly a Century ago and continues to be run by them today. Today Langley’s is run by Adam Wallis Palmer, the great, great grandson of the original founder of the Palmer group, having kept the company within the family since its very establishment – even through all of its expansion. If you visit the distillery, you can see the six stills, including what is claimed to be the UK’s oldest working copper pot-still. Langley’s No. 8 is made in ‘Constance’, a 4,000 Litre copper pot still which was created in about 1917 by the oldest distillery engineering establishment in the world, John-Dore and named after the Master Distiller Rob Dorsett’s late mother, Connie.More Information
