  • We’re all starting to get into the Christmas spirit. And speaking of spirits, we’ve found some fantastic Christmassy cocktails for you to try from the comfort of your own home. Each cocktail has been adapted from some of the most popular classics such as Mojitos, Mimosas and Moscow Mules. We’ve found some hot, cold, creamy and bubbly recipes all with varying amounts of effort required. So you can find the cocktail just right for you!

    White Christmas Mojito

    Time to spread the festivities into one of your favourite cocktails - a mojito, because who doesn’t love a mojito? With the use of coconut rum and coconut milk, this is a coconut dream. This creamy white coconut Christmas mojito is the sort of white Christmas we’ll be wishing for!

    You’ll need the following ingredients:

    INGREDIENTS
    Juice 1 lime
    8 leaves mint
    1 tablespoon sugar
    2 tablespoons white rum
    1 tablespoon coconut rum
    1/4 cup canned coconut milk
    Sparkling water for topping
    Pomegranate arils for serving

    Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer

    Now Christmas wouldn’t feel complete without a fizzy cocktail, and this Pomegranate Rosemary Spritzer really delivers on the Christmas theme with the red pomegranate, green rosemary and to finish, the bubbles! Elegant and tasty this is a must-have Christmas cocktail.

    For this fizzy wonder, you’ll need:

    INGREDIENTS
    1 bottle Prosecco
    2 ounces peach schnapps
    4 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
    4 ounces pom juice
    1 small bottle of mango flavoured soda water
    6-8 sprigs of rosemary
    1 fresh pomegranate
    .5 cup sugar
    1 cup water

    Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Mimosa

    Now for the simplest of them all, this Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Mimosa - could it sound anymore Christmassy? And the best thing about a mimosa is that they can be enjoyed at any time of the day, especially on Christmas.

    The four ingredients needed for this are:

    INGREDIENTS
    1/2 cup cranberry juice
    1 1/2 ounces vodka
    Pinch of cinnamon
    1 cup Cider

    Hot Buttered Bourbon

    Now for something hot! We can’t think of anything better than heat and alcohol in these cold times - double the warmth. This cocktail consists of two winter warmers, bourbon and apple cider, and has been adapted from the classic hot buttered rum.

    To make this cocktail you’ll need the following:

    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup apple cider
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter, - softened
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/4 teaspoon cloves
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 cup bourbon
    Cinnamon sticks - for garnish

    Cranberry Mule

    Finally, this Christmas cocktail is made by simply adding sugared cranberries to a traditional Moscow Mule. With the combination of cranberries, ginger beer and spiced rum, you can’t go wrong by adding this cocktail to your Christmas menu.

    For this Cranberry Mule you’ll need:

    INGREDIENTS
    Sugared Cranberries (for garnishing)
    12 oz. fresh cranberries
    1/2 cup simple syrup
    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    Cranberry Mule
    2 oz. unsweetened cranberry juice
    3 oz. ginger beer
    1 1/2 oz. spiced rum
    1 oz. simple syrup
    Ice , for serving
