AnCnoc Black Hill Reserve Whisky 1L
Nose: Lots of orchard fruit on the nose (something of a signature for anCnoc). Soon joined by sweet, creamy vanilla.
Palate: Apple and orange stay at the fore, backed up by continued bourbon-cask vanillas and a touch of cooking spice.
Finish: Quite long and chocolatey.
About the BrandOne of two Travel Retail releases from the anCnoc range launched in the first half of 2015, the Black Hill Reserve is an impressive single malt Scotch whisky which has been allowed to mature in first fill ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV. The name of this release comes from the name of the distillery, Knockdhu, which means Black Hill in Gaelic.
